Defending You Against the Consequences of DUI
People from all walks of life can be charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI). It’s not at all uncommon for someone who has been drinking socially or taking doctor prescribed medication to make an honest mistake when deciding whether to get behind the wheel. Unfortunately, DUI charges can have serious long-term consequences.
I have practiced criminal law since 1985 and am dedicated to protecting the rights of clients who are facing DUI charges.
Know Your DUI Defense and ARD Options
If you’ve been pulled over and tested over the legal blood or breath limit, you may think your only option is to plead guilty and accept the penalties, which could include jail time and the loss of your driving privileges for a significant period of time. You will also have a criminal record.
Do not surrender your rights. If you’re facing DUI charges, call me as soon as possible to discuss your defense options. One option may be the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.
If you’re accepted into ARD, you avoid jail time and you license suspension will be avoided entirely or significantly reduced. I can also have your record expunged, meaning all your arrest and prosecution records are destroyed once your case is closed.
Don’t panic and plead guilty. Call me at 717-290-7900 or complete the form on this page to have your questions answered and find out if ARD is right for you.
